Kid Sister Phoebe is the musical pseudonym for Iain Mackay, a Hereford/Oxford based Antifolk performer. He juggles his musical tendencies with trying to get a degree and the name 'Kid Sister Phoebe' signifies an evolving group of musicians - basically whoever Iain can get to play with him (usually and most successfully Omar Majeed). Iain can't play guitar very well, but can not play it a whole lot better than he can not play: harmonica, bongos, woodblocks, glockenspiel, keyboard, egg shaker and Jew's harp.

Further work is continuing on Kid Sister Phoebe's third and as-yet-untitled cassette album. Following its release (probably by summer 2007) KSP intends to distil his first three cassettes down into an EP of slightly more consistent quality, and hopefully figure out how to get the songs onto CD-R without any significant sound quality loss too.
